Those intending to provide financial advice on and / or market collective investment schemes are required to pass this Module 8, together with Module 5 - Rules And Regulations For Financial Advisory Services, in compliance with the requirements as laid down by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Objective To ensure potential financial advisers / representatives possess the requisite knowledge of the product characteristics, as well as the tools and techniques to analyse, advise and market collective investment schemes and unit trusts. Contents Chapter 1 - Types of Investment Assets I Chapter 2 - Types of Investment Assets II Chapter 3 - Financial Markets Chapter 4 - Risks and Return Chapter 5 - Time Value of Money Chapter 6 - Considerations for Investment Chapter 7 - Unit Trusts Chapter 8 - Fund Products Structure & Format 50 multiple-choice questions. Duration 1 hour (4th edition). Minimum Passing Grade & Result Slip 70% One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. No mark will be awarded or deducted for any wrong or blank answer.
